New EP out April 16th

Good news everyone, it seems that soon we'll be listening new songs from John Frusciante, in a titled EP called FOREGROW. The EP instead of numerating the tracks give them codes. It starts with A1 - Foregrow followed by A2 - Expre'act, B1 - Lowth Forgue and B2 - Unf.

Last year Acid Test (the label behind it) said about this work:
"using elements of John Carpenter's eternal scores, the drum programming DNA of jungle and footwork, and yes, a Roland TB-303"
A great news to start 2016 :)

John Frusciante next release - Outsides 2013

A Japanese music store is offering the pre-order of what seems to be an unreleased and new album from John Frusciante, called Outsides. In the site the release date is 14th of August, 2013. Down bellow you can check photos from photographer Chris Shonting. He had posted two images of John Frusciante in which he said: "John's next release; yet that they are not going to be used on the packaging."

Walls and doors - PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone

Not so new, but in case you were in caverns and didn't notice you can pre order the awesome new album (PBX Funicular Intaglio Zone) of our beloved Johnie!

As he describe in its blog:
"I might mention that Walls And Doors was also the first time my electronic instruments had begun to convey the visceral energy that one associates with people beating the fuck out of their instruments, in the context of a pop song."

And for sure you can heard the first music, it is just a matter of download and heard.

Walls and doors

Any sigh is a womb
Releasing to the room of senses
Results of plans are ours
Our actions girt in what will be
One time seems a bunch
But we don't see in front of us
When you do anything
Everything's coming to you
When you see a changeling
He's nothing but his appearances' sum
Touch knows what's hearing
Sight knows who's speaking
They're walls and doors
And naught upholds it all

What never ends lost it all
It echoes and re-throws
The bornless win it all
They echo tomorrow's sounds
And all is turned around

Psycho Tropical Ballet Pink by Swahili Blonde

Psycho Tropical Ballet Pink is set for 31st October release, rather than 02nd October like it was originally announced. Five tracks have been posted to the project's Bandcamp website so far.
As it was the case with the previous release, 2010's Man Meat John is featured on all tracks as the guitarist, but this time it appears that he did not take part in composing and production (he co-wrote Tigress Ritual with Duran Duran's John Taylor for the previous release) and it is still not clear if he's a band member, session musician for the studio tracks or something else.
However, the only thing that truly matters here is NEW MUSIC. So, enjoy!

Good luck Josh Klinghoffer

Despite this title, my intention was just desire luck for the new guitar lead Josh. Today the Chili Peppers have started the official I'm with you tour. They played at AsiaExpo-World in Hong Kong.

You can watch the video (By the way song) with Josh Klinghoffer. Being very honest, it's weird I can't deny, I'm used to see Frusciante's movements, to hear John backing vocals. However as Flea and the other have metioned, we need try to see it as a new Chili Peppers, so good luck for the gang.

Heard the new music of Red Hot Chili Peppers with lyrics

Hear debut of The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie from Red Hot. I confess where is the second voice?! The music is good, yet Chili Peppers Song. :-)

Lipstick junkie be funky all he want
She came back wearing a smile
Look-alike someone drug me
They wanted to unplug me
No one here is on trial
Its just a turn-around

And we go
Oh
Well and we go
Oh oh oh oh
Tic-toc, I want to rock you like the 80s

Cock-blocking isn’t allowed
Tug boat Sheila is into memorabilia
Who said three is a crowd?
We better get it on the go
Hey, now

We’ve got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
Oh Maggie makes it in her cloud
I said, hey, now

We’ve got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
She knows how to make it loud
Rain dance maggie advances to the final

Who knew that she had the goods?
Little did I know her body was one delicious vinyl
To your neck of the woods
I want to lick a little bit
Hey, now

We’ve got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
Oh Maggie makes it in her cloud
You got the wrong girl

But not for long girl
Its in a song girl
Cos I’ll be…
Gone girl
Hey, now

We’ve got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
Oh Maggie makes it in her cloud
I said

Hey now
I want to rock this valley crowd
She told me to
And told me what to do
She knows how to make it loud
But not for longer

Its in a song girl
Cos I’ll be gone bye bye yeah
bye bye girl
[scat]
bye bye
girl
bye bye
girl
bye bye

Omar Rodriguez Lopez Releases Telesterion

Telesterion, the extensive anthology of solo recordings by immensely prolific Grammy Award winning recording artist Omar Rodriguez Lopez (The Mars Volta, At The Drive-In) is available this weekend on Record Store Day, April 16th. And, today Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group plays the Coachella Festival in Indio, CA amid their lengthy North American tour with support from sibling band, Zechs Marquise.

Omar Rodriguez Lopez's genre-defying sixteen-year career has resulted in more than 40 albums, a Grammy Award and being deemed among Rolling Stone's "Greatest Guitarists of All Time." His seminal and critically acclaimed band, At the Drive-In, redefined popular rock music at the end of the last decade. Since that time, in addition to being both a solo artist and leader/composer/producer of the The Mars Volta, Rodriguez Lopez has produced groundbreaking recordings for the likes of Juliette Lewis, Le Butcherettes and collaborated with Hans Zimmer, John Frusciante, and Erykah Badu, to name a few.

Anthony Kiedis Talks New RHCP Album And About John Frusciante too

"It is always going to change the chemistry and feeling of the music when such a creative force as John Frusciante leaves," Kiedis says.

"He was something unique that shaped our sound then, but now I think it's also something fresh and exciting to have a new, incredible musical mind working with us now. We are still the Red Hot Chili Peppers, but we also have to adapt and welcome new opportunities. After all, that is how we've survived all these years."

NEWS Chad Smith talks about new Red Hot Chili Peppers Album

Chad Smith on new Bombastic Meatbats, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chickenfoot
MusicRadar - Published Oct 15th 2010

Related RHCP Excerpts from interview...

How are things with the Peppers?

"Things are good. Very good. We've cut a bunch of songs, so we're probably halfway through the record. I think we've tracked about 20 songs already, and there's a few more left to do. Then we'll whittle them down to make the best record. We always cut a lot of songs and see which ones rise and which ones fall - that's just how we like to work. But the new one won't be a double album like Stadium Arcadium, I can tell you that."

Do things feel any different with Josh Klinghoffer? How's he working out?

"Things are a bit different. You know, he's a different guy. But he's doing great. He's got a terrific sound, he's very musical, he's full of idea - we're enjoying working with him. Things are coming along pretty easily, so that's always a good sign. I've been playing with him for over a year now, so it's feeling very natural.

"What I'm really liking about Josh is how multi-talented he is. He plays guitar, bass, piano, drums, he sings…We've been very fortunate to have him come into our fold and help inspire us to try some new things."

Is his guitar sound radically different from John Frusciante's?

"I wouldn't say it's radically different. Josh is just Josh. He has his own thing, and that's why we love him. The sounds he comes up with are very pleasing to my ears, and I'm pretty sure they will be to everybody else once they hear him on this record."

If the Chili Peppers have dates booked for next summer, I would assume that you'd want the album out by then.

"That would be nice. We probably have three to four more weeks left for cutting basic tracks. Then we'll start doing overdubs - guitars, vocals, all the other things that go on a record. After that, there might be a couple of things to do in January. Or we could start mixing - and as you know, that can take some time. I'm just projecting and guessing, but I would say we'd like to try to deliver the album in March. We're definitely hoping to have it out by next summer. It's been a long time in coming."

On page four, Chad also says the following...
"The Peppers have festival dates booked for the summer of 2011 already , so I can't play in both bands next year."
